Mini Schnoodle
Friday, May 2nd, 2008The Mini Schnoodle
Like their medium-sized and giant counterparts, the mini Schnoodle has endeared itself to many families across the country. Mini Schnoodles carry all the benefits of their larger cousins.
They are non-shedding (hypo-allergenic), intelligent, loyal, and gentle hybrid breed dogs. Mini Schnoodles have the added advantage of being very small. An adult mini Schnoodle will weigh approximately 10 lbs, standing below knee height. Mini Schnoodles are also very trainable, making them an ideal small pet for families with limited space.

As they are hybrids, Schnoodle dogs usually do not develop the frequent health problems commonly associated with pure-bred Schnauzers or Poodles. Mini Schnoodles are simply smaller specimens of the normal Schnoodle, which is a cross between a Poodle and a Schnauzer. They posses both the intelligence of a Poodle, with the affinity for companionship of a Schnauzer. Schnoodles have recently been recognized as a breed by the Dog Registry of America, and have since become a very popular pet. A few breeders are currently working on breeding a toy-sized Schnoodle.
